Jim’s extensive CPA career began at BDO Seidman, where, from 1960 to 1989, he garnered expertise in a wide variety of areas of accounting, tax, consulting and general business advisory services. His experience at BDO included 15 years as the managing partner of the Denver office and a national marketing partner and business advisory coordinator.

Jim specializes in real estate, manufacturing, distribution and service sectors, retail and wholesale industries, tax transactions and planning, estate and gift tax issues, succession planning, and family business consultation. A leader in the national CPA community, he has regularly lectured on technical, administrative and marketing subjects for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of CPAs. Jim also serves/served in an executive capacity and is/was a board member for various local civic organizations, including the Cherry Creek Board of Education, Rose Medical Center, University of Denver/Director of the School of Accountancy, Jewish Community Center, President of Green Gables Country Club, and offers his services and advice to numerous other philanthropic and professional organizations and private clubs. He earned his BBA in Accounting from the University of Denver.
